Along the same lines as the previous post....has anyone used these?

Can they be worn by themselves? That's a great deal if so.

ETA: My modesty standards do not include covering my neck, but just my hair. Would they work for that??

I have some of those -- they do work pretty well, with the usual (now i know -- thanks y'all!) precautions against slippage. The cotton has better hold, definitely.

They really can't be worn alone as hijab IMO, as basically, they're a tube -- the back end isn't closed. They also don't cover the neck.

mind you, there are snoods like this sold by Orthodox jewish places that ARE closed in the back..... and some of the ones at veiled by design i think may be... it would be a simple thing to sew the end shut if it is open..
(veiled by design has over 30 colors of them..)

the ones i got from www.tznius.com were closed in the back, but otherwise look similar....

oh, and you can get some LIKE that in fewer colors in a beauty supply store, they sell them for sleeping to keep your hair style or curlers or whatever......

I don't care if they are sewn in the back or not because I can just do that. I have some of these that are very similar that I got from other stores that are closed in the back. These looked nice, but they may not do what I want.

the view from the picture is deceiving. it doesn't look open. but it appears they are.

oh well, I'll keep looking.

the problem I have is whenever I tie a scarf it looks so horrible. So I was hoping for something that was way low maintenance. haha.
