why dont you go back to the trumpet? i love the trumpet.. i played it from 5th - 7th grade, haha. i wish i would have stuck to it.

what are your choices to choose from?...

It's been so long that it would be like starting over completely, it's a little too toppy and bright for me though.
Probably piano, upright bass, trombone, something along those lines...

Well, that's the problem. it IS my main instrument at the moment...
I hope things work out too, and I am confident they will. Just in a weird place with it right now.

I want to visit so bad! Gas is so cheap now too!

I've thought about trying that out, it'd be a lot easier than getting slide positions really consistent with the trombone.
But I'd really like to see what it's like in the orchestra world with the double bass, plus I've got more of a head start to learning it with my skill concerning other types of string instruments.
Nevertheless Dr. Rhyneer is about to pop with that baby, and I expect she'll be very busy next semester. So I don't want to sign up for string performance lessons right now.
I'm going to be able to have my upright in my apartment that I'm moving into though, so I will be able to get a head start on practicing next semester anyways.
The other day when you had your Schecter in the lounge made me miss my basses so bad haha
