So we visited UC Merced today. I had to get up at 4:30 am. Not fun. Although I do like traveling in the morning and we got to see all the cool fog. My dad doesn't seem to understand that butter melts. That must be it. He wouldn't continue to leave the butter out over and over again on purpose. Or, say, because he's a lazy ass. No. He must not understand that leaving the butter out for hours at a time causes it to melt all over the counter.

This whole college thing is really annoying. The whole process of applying to a UC school is just so damn complicated. Right now I just wish I were in college already so I wouldn't have to go through this. Although I love being seventeen, going to high school and living at home is getting really annoying. I just want to leave already.

We got back from Humboldt yesterday night at around 11:30. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with it. We stayed in Eureka, which is only about 7 miles outside of Arcata, where Humboldt is. Going in I knew that both were really small towns, but I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. Eureka turned out to be a kind of fishing town. There was a harbor full ( Read more... )
