I was afflicted with the plague last night, yet I continue to draw breath. No sores, no blood mingled with pus, not even scarred flesh...I suppose yesterday really was only a curse. Thank whatever benign higher power watching over us that it is over.

My apologies, but considering the luck of the citizens as of late, I am inclined to worry about anyone who would speak in their favor. And they do seem to have full control, more than any other higher power here.

Apparently not. Those illnesses... are probably quite common in the underworld of my city, but... I haven't experienced them myself.
