Ah, I must agree with you. People invest too much time (and a shit load of money) for 1 day.

I try to avoid the holidays at all costs, that's the best advice I can give you.

Maybe I'll move to somewhere where they don't celebrate any holidays I'm familiar with...like the Middle east. I'm sure they don't celebrate Christmas there. And if they do, they're a bunch of goddam hypocrites.

Don't think this is something I'm gonna brush away with a sorry and a peck on the cheek.

This bothered me. One would have thought that you would be familiar with the attitude I have towards my sister. I love her, and I won't accept her being treated badly, or talk of treating her badly, especially not from people that are close to me.
