Wednesday’s big accomplishment: I learned how to diagram a simple sentence.

And, as I go to post this entry about mostly-yesterday, the sun has finally decided to peek out from behind the clouds.

I'll come out and help you tack up some chicken wire to make the roof of their house "off limits" to them. I'll also point out a few of the other spots I thought you may want to patch before winter hits and predators get hungrier, if you'd like. I know a pair of fresh eyes can spot things you may not see anymore.

Diagramming sentences

My AP English teacher was shocked and appalled to learn that I had never been taught to diagram sentences. (It just wasn't done in the school system from which I had come.) I managed a "5" on the AP English exam anyway, and didn't have to take freshman comp when I got to college.

Ch- showed me the basics yesterday, so at least I've got a foundation now. He just loves it when he knows something I don't!
