You inspire me! I say GO FOR IT! It really does sound like a do-able plan. I wanted to recommend "The Weekend Novelist" by Robert J. Ray. Of course, you're not writing strictly on the weekends, but the book is easily tailored to a choppy writing approach. In other words, for people who have lives to live in between the manuscript pages. I've found it to be a very helpful resource, if nothing else. (You'll notice that I am not motivated in my writing career at the moment. My son's Dx process seems to have zapped all creativity.)

Thank you for this. It really helps to have folks that know and care what I'm doing. I'll keep an eye out for the book -- sounds just write :) (That was actually a typo but I think I'll keep it.) I think I can see a bit of creativity re-entering your life. You've got an awful lot to deal with at the moment. You've been handling yourself beautifully. (Talk about deserving a standing ovation!) Would writing more help, do you suppose? Sometimes it soothes me and sometimes it makes me crazier.

you make a good point, I do weather the storms of life with more confidence and peace when I'm writing my way through it. I just can't seem to sort out the emotions to find a starting place on a page. But it's been great for my marriage because it has forced hubby and I to have some very hard discussions, which we've navigated flawlessly. In the past, his Gemini traits always came out in our discussions, and always killed all hope for successful communication. My father was born on the 28th of May and in my abbreviated recollection of him (I was 12 when he passed away)he was ALL Gemini which proved to be diabolical in my parents' communication ( ... )

I'll be watching you even more closely now ... my son is a Libra -- the first I've ever known well, in fact.

Isn't it funny how certain signs (and other patterns)show up with surprising frequency? I have four close girlfriends. Two of them are Pisces and two of them are Aquarius. My family is littered with more than a reasonable percentage of Virgos too. (Whimper.) :D
