Monday's Score and a Mood Map

To "guinea pigs":
Several volunteers have just completed their one week trial of KS. I’m deeply appreciative of all the great feedback I’ve received. Over the next few weeks, I will be refining the system and implementing some changes. If, at any point, you would like to contribute a trial of your own, please contact me. I've developed and ( Read more... )

your mood hierarchy was fascinating--it really made me think about my own moods and what they mean.

I haven't gone reading my flist yet today ... I'm rather hoping you wrote/write about your thoughts.

Moderately mad - it’s been a while since I’ve commented but I wanted to tell you how significant I think it is that you are open about hypomania and various states of mental being. I dated a someone who was bipolar for a while and even went to a support group with him. I think you’re brave to post what you do and it must help you to see it all on the page sometimes. Keep it up, even if it’s painful. Something beautiful usually comes out in the end. ~ks

It's funny that you pop up at this particular moment in time ... I just wrote a locked entry that includes some meditation on my perception of the phenomena known as kateyschultz :)

I'll switch it over to be visible to you (seems only fair) but I request that you don't tell me that the parts surrounding the section about you aren't reasonable. I already know that -- which is why it's locked.

As for all that unreasonable stuff, I think there may be some grain of good in the mess but I can't figure out how to pull it out or to write what I mean without offending too many people.

a rant featuring katey

If you happen to get this immediately, understand it will take me a minute to figure out the filter thing.

Nice mood scale. I've been thinking about things like that, but not in nearly so organized a fashion.

Wow, did I pick the wrong entry to overlook... rick_the_ogre April 22 2006, 21:58:04 UTC
So when I'm at my own lower levels of functioning (i.e. not reading my friends' postings in lj) I miss a gem like this one.

Wow. Your mood scale...and the accompanying commentary on what you feel about your own personal state...really hit home for me. How do I keep forgetting what a good writer you are?

I'm still looking for the way to get a little "bounce" away from the dysthymic end of the scale, and would love to touch my theoretically perfect hypomanic state for a little while (even though it also scares me a little...it just feels so good). You're helping, every day, to keep me away from the darkness. (My current stressors...this too, will pass.)

Time for the Ogre to start Keeping Score(tm) again.
