Boooooooooooooo!... No more olympics! Atleast not for another four years, now I have to wait until I'm damned near thirty for the next series of games. And now that the games have ended... Anyway, as usual, all the good stuff was during the week. We start off mainly with swimming, then the gymnastics events, and finally your track and field/athletics events. But during the weekends, it's just... whatever: Rowing, canoeing, table tennis... eh. And I didn't even know BMX is an olympic event, when did that happen??? What next... Motocross?! Although I did like watching the Tae Kwon Do and Judo events, they're not quite as popular as swimming and gymnastics but still fun to watch... maybe because of my love of seeing people get hurt.:) But nonetheless, I'm back to there being NOTHING on TV.

Wow, you learn something everyday because I didn't catch any of the BMX competitions over here. The diving competitions are pretty cool to watch, but not so much this time around since the Chinese made it look so easy that it was embarrassing. I mean they would enter the water and make so little splash you'd think it was a raindrop. Laura Wilkinson couldn't even hang with them and she was a gold medalist in Sydney. Other than the Chinese: the Aussies, Italians, and Canadians were the ones showing up in that event.
And I feel you on that last notion... isn't it great how you can just turn it on and off like a switch. But that's why I miss the games now... I have NOTHING to watch.
