this really doesn't capture the essence of the collection at ALL. that collection basically encapsulated everything that made valentino valentino. could they not have given valentino a decent send-off?! they might as well not have booked such high-profile models. seriously, i&v need to get over their japanese ghost hair over the face thing. i will never forgive them for what they did to freja for chloe fw07.

sorry, i'm being such a bitch.

I completely agree with everything you just said. This ad campaign totally blew off the entire mood and style of Valentino.

well, it would be a little... mean, considering this is the last RTW collection he will ever design in his almost-50-year career, wouldn't it? i would at least have saved it for the fall campaign.

i'll just keep on crossing my fingers and hoping that this is just an accessories collection :(

moi, I liked this campaign. It's not about Valentino or models. It's only the shoes-bags thing. Nothing more.

those red shoes are hot though.

however, i can't find them in the Spring 2008 collection, neither on his website... and some of the shoes on his Spring 2008 RTW collection are from the Fall 2007 couture collection lol.

The first ad is spectacular. The rest - blah!
