i think the fact that shes friendly, young and american, her agency is pushing her into that sexy-girl-next-door role a la cindy crawford. i think karlie is a great model (altho i personally dont find anything special about her), i think she knows how to pose and walk, and shes tall and lean. but i really think she should stick with keeping her clothes ON! im with a lot of you and find her body unsettling. but thats my opinion...

i think the interesting thing about this shoot is the controversy about Numero's initial decision to photoshop her ribcage out so she appears smoother. i personally thought it was such an improvement. BUT then greg kadel complained and said that he didnt approve it, and it was part of his artistic vision to show karlie as she truly is. so im assuming Numero did settle and show the unphotoshopped photo of karlie, ribcage and all.

but im torn, im usually against the over-photoshopization of fashion photography, but in this case i kinda think Numero was right to want to make her smoother.

I would prefer it if she put on a few extra pounds to look smoother instead of being photoshopped smoother. After she lost weight I find her bony and unappealing.
