Am I the only one finding it ridiculous that Chanel seems to be the exact same designs and materials each season with only the colour changing ever so slightly, yet Karl is still able to remain such a big name in the fashion world?

I kinda agree. Karl doesn't really seem to be into trying anything different, you know? I suppose he figures at his age, why bother to mess with what works? Just coast until ya die.

haha yea, when not viewing it as someone super into actual designing and whatnot but as a typical customer, he should really change it up. or if he's not into even minor changes in classic designs, then he should drop that pompous attitude.

but basically i agree, karl does the same damn thing every season and somehow he's still the prince of couture. i don't get it.

Boring. It all looks so old. However, he did make a schoolgirl dress for Alexa Chung, and toward the end, some dresses seemed a bit younger.

I'm not a big Chanel fan, as it all seems so matronly.
