I don't like it because it promotes unhealthy standarts - no woman can have same physical appearance as a male model
i mean supertallskinny models are already pushing the limits, but men?

im not sure if the company whos promoting this lingerie usually does their campaigns like this, but i mean i cant even see the product. all i can see are the "effects" i have no problem with androgynous models, but if they have to hide the actual product due to certain aspects of their bodies, then whats the point? if you can work with the product, then go for it. like i said i have no problem
i just find it stupid to use an androgynous model for something like lingerie.

and like mypointofview stated, no woman can have the same physical appearance as a male model.

i agree with your first point.. and partially the second. yes, a male body is obviously quite unattainable for women, but if you look at the fashion industry in general filled with women with the body's of a pre-pubescent girl, it's not really much more realistic. and, with being rail-thin comes a lack of breasts.

so, i really don't think andrej promoting lingerie is that far out, and don't get the big uproar it seems to be causing.

Usually HEMA uses 'regular' models or just takes pics of the bras without a model actually wearing them. I do like this new approach! The idea behind it was that even men can create the illusion of having breasts with this bra, and Andrej looks fantastic in these shots!

Aesthetically speaking, I really like this sort of imagery, I love androgyny. However, I feel like this would be better suited for an editorial in a magazine and not for a brand trying to sell their product. I mean really, how would this make a woman want to purchase their lingerie?

Androgyny is fine, but they're really just making him look like a woman with fake breasts and everything. It's cool that he can look that feminine but someone looking at this probably won't even realize he's a dude. It seems a little pointleess tbh.

Maybe everyone who follows fashion, but not everyone the ad is targeting. The average woman who sees this and wants to buy a bra is probably going to see him as just another pretty model.
