I think it's a combination of make up (in the case of Jennifer Pugh) and the almost horror theme of the photography (Hailey Clauson -- also those are not good angles for her with her lips, idt. :/ ). Dark makeup and bright red lips on even a slightly baby-ish face will always give off a bride of Chucky vibe. Personally, I don't dig that, but in normal make up and with a different photographer I can't say I'd mind these girls too much. :)

And you've picked one of the cutest pictures of Lindsay Wixson, lol. She has perfect babydoll lips on an otherwise beautifully normal face which is what makes her look odd in some photos (to me, anyways). I don't think Anastasia looks all that bad, and Daphne isn't that odd to me. I'm pretty sure I've seen all of these girls featuring in fairly good photos before. Some moreso than others (actually, I don't know that I have seen a great photo of Lisa Bommerson without her forehead being all I see, but I think that's something else entirely).

in all her other pics she was smiling sooo yeah, but she still definitely has that chucky vibe about her lol

all of these comments are gold and i agree wholeheartedly! besides, while personality is an important factor in making clothes etc. look good, you don't want to be distracted from them by wacky faces. it's just impractical.
