I stumbled upon this blog while doing some online research for my MA thesis which particularly focuses on Chinese Vogue. The images of Du Juan are beautifully shot indeed! Nevertheless, I would like to ask all of you who are reading this to share our first thoughts on the following question:
“Do you think Chinese Vogue is merely a Western publication wearing a Chinese mask or is it actually a Chinese one wearing a Western mask?”

I’m hoping some of you out there will share their thoughts on this question here and I’m looking forward to reading your responses!
