LIMS voting.....from the mod's perspective

Aug 13, 2009 23:30

This is half of a pair of discussion posts that quiddity_ suggested. It's a topic that frequently rears it's head in iconrants, but this is a better place to fully discuss the issue from all sides.

So, fellow mod's, the purpose of this post is to discuss LIMS votes from your perspective. What makes a well-written vote, what doesn't, and what do you do with the bad ones? My purpose here is to help everyone define for their comm(s) what kinds of votes are acceptable and what isn't and how to go about dealing with the unacceptable votes. Example icons and the associated vote/comment are allowed, but please don't identify the maker. Also, anyone who has links to examples of 'how to write a good voting comment', feel free to comment with them.

This will be a moderated discussion. This is not meant to be a bitch-fest. Comments will be screened until I have a chance to review them for content and appropriateness. Let's keep this a productive discussion. :)
