Sorry, I meant, "What, for you, is the best thing about being a Latter Day Saint or a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints?" I just thought I'd go with the short form :P

Even though I grew up LDS, I had a chance to attend a number of different churches when I was young as my family was not particularly active. The only time I've felt anything close to the peace associated with the LDS church is when I've spent time at a local conservative Jewish synagogue.

I think the best thing about being a member of the Church is knowing that families can be forever. I lost my parents when I was younger and not a member of the Church, and it really hurt. But, now knowing that we can be reunited is such a blessing.
