i was pleased.  very pleased.

i was one of the ones that hated the GoF movie, and I was very worried that they would fuck up this one like they did the last.  But, I personally don't think they did.

Cried very early on.  Cried more later on.  Cried a lot.

i wanted more Lupin!  I always do.

RON IS A MAN!  He's such a MAN.

I definitely don't think they fucked this one up, but there are some changes to the story that made me go "huh?"... and I think the end of the movie (the battle in the ministry) wasn't scary & violent enough. In the book all of the kids get the crap beaten out of them, in the movie, not so much.

I'm seeing it again tomorrow in IMAX. I can't wait!

Yeah, i agree about the final battle! and i wish they had made tonks a bit more important (because i love her). but, mostly, i am really happy with it because i didn't feel like the time was wasted at all. like, there is stuff i wish was expanded, but i am not sure what i would have wanted them to cut.

i'm seeing it again tomorrow too! and probably again on saturday with my mother :) i'm sure i will have more to say after repeated viewings.

i'll tell you this much though...i don't think i'm ready for DH. i'm terrified.
