Not so much. They express their opinions to me. I attempt to not call them stupid. This conversation was "Well, you know I'm not a big Obama fan. I especially don't like that he says he plans on dealing with gas prices by finding ways to reduce our dependency on gas instead of drilling for more oil."

To which my only reply was "...you do realize that oil is a NON-renewable resource, right?"

It was my mother, or else I would have been mightily tempted. Unfortunately though right now I rely on her too much for extra cash to piss her off that way.
