Look, you can stop suggesting that we get multiple moderators, ok? I explained this about two dozen times in the recent thread but I realize 9 pages of comments is more than most people will read so I'll say it here so you can all stop bringing it up:
It has nothing to do with me wanting to be the absolute dictator of the community, or not wanting to share.
We did it before. I loved the fact that I didn't have to spend so much time moderating, but I eventually had to face the fact that it wasn't working out and go back to doing all the work myself.
Ask people who were around at the time; it sucked. There was no consistency as to what was approved. It is impossible for there to be consistency about what is funny when you're dealing with multiple moderators and their personal senses of humor. What ended up happening was people getting angry and confused. And it sucked for me, because I'd have people complain that their post was rejected, and I'd have to agree with them because it would be something that I would have let through... or other things that got let through and I'd be scratching my head going what the hell? And people would resubmit their posts over and over hoping that a different mod would read it the next time, etc.
It caused more problems than it solved, and the community was less readable as a result. I wish we could have multiple moderators, I really do. I don't like having it all on me. But it doesn't work. I've added a note about it to the community info page as well.
