Oh, did I mention that I hate to see the ARMY recruiters there. They're annoying too.

Me too -- even though I'm too old and fat for them to bother with. In my article for the September issue of Scepter I take a bit of a swipe at them by pointing out how many of our allies allow gays in their armed forces.

its really sick that they let credit card recruiters go on campuses, seeing as how students are graduating with record amounts of debt right now. the last thing they really need is a credit card to put thousands of dollars they don't have on, only to end up paying outrageous interest charges with it.

I know, and I feel like they're targeting minority students more. I could be wrong, but I have that gut feeling.

of course, they're probably targeting anyone they can who doesn't have money and can be easily fooled into thinking a credit card with a 20% interest rate is a good idea!

LOL. When I was at school, they tried to get me to sell my soul for a frekin t-shirt that said "COLLEGE" on it. That shit wasn't even Hanes, or Fruit of the Loom. I said no thank you and went on my way

lol@ the t-shirt just saying "COLLEGE", not even the name of your school on it, at least..but just plain old "COLLEGE"..Credit Card companies are ridiculous.

lmao.. ya know. I'm picturing my mom's face as I ask her for $200, worst as a high school student, and for a phone!.. she'll probably say something like: " does the phone have gold on it?
