So the worst is pretty much over. Nothing really happened in Oahu, but Maui got some big waves. I still feel really bad for everyone in Japan. Haha, yea people were saying they were gonna ditch class anyway even if the school didn't shut down. A ton of teachers are from Japan and so are many of the students because there is a high Japanese population here. I don't think many of them would have wanted to go to school.

I feel awful about all the stuff going on in Japan right now. So many people living here have friends and family living there and you can really feel the panic and distress even though the "worst" is technically over. It sucks :(

What happened in Japan is so horrible. I can't even imagine how the people living over there must feel. It's really heartbreaking.
