[manga] my growing collection

Lol, finally got to post this. It took forever because I had to ramble on and on about what I had.

This is by no means the entirety of my collection, nor is it complete by any means. Not that I'm that big of a collector. Just chose to showcase the works of authors I'm prioritizing.

I have some extra copies of RK. They were random volumes cause they were copies I had before I was able to get the whole set off of y!japan auctions. Will check if I have any of the latter volumes you're missing.

Saiyuki Gaiden really deserves to be licensed and published in English, but I suppose all my hopes are dashed, now that TP is gone, and I should just cave and buy the tankouban XD;;

Ooh, I love all those yaoi mangaka~ I have nearly all of Fujiyama Hyouta's, Takanaga Hinako's, and Kawai Touko's works after many years of casual collecting. I plan on buying Doushitemo Furetakunai in English for the same reasons as you, though it's sad that is Yoneda-sensei's only licensed work and it has a terrible translation :/ It's sad that Yokai's Hunger is also the only licensed work of another great mangaka. Yoneda Kou is amazing!

I really enjoyed Man's Best Friend too, along with Wild Rock, so I've bought most of Mad Love Chase in English as well :3

Precisely! There were rumblings about Tokyopop licensing it and then they closed down :/ There's a new pocket edition out that condenses these into two smaller tankoubons that I'm also eyeing T_T I'd just like to see how they look first and how small they are. I'd love to be able to carry copies of these around T_T I'm THAT crazy over Gaiden. I recently got some volumes of Saiyuku Reload which I forgot to take pictures of XD

I should have paced myself better but I just couldn't resist being able to acquire so many XD I think if I had to choose a favorite, the closest would be Fujiyama Hyouta, so I've kinda dedicated myself to completing her works. It's also great that she got so many licensed and that they were done by the IMO then decent DMP. Damn them for holding Pure Heart in limbo :E

Exactly ;A; Screw youuu, Tokyooopoppp! Wasting time on pointless crap and abandoning all these, much of them half-published or more, series in your wake... Haha, Gaiden is pretty amazing. I don't think I've cried over manga as hard as I did Gaiden (as in, open sobbing because DAT END). I only wish that one day another American publisher will take it, along with that last volume of Reload, Reload Blast, and Ibun, under their wing. Or something. Anything, really! X'D Were they English or Japanese volumes of Reload? :O ( ... )

Gah! I thought I replied to this already. And yes OMG I cried so much on those last chapters. One of my favorite set of panels has got to be those consecutive double pages where Goku was just waiting... waiting... waiting... inside his cage. That just seriously seriously tore my heart T_T I love it so much and would snag it right up no questions asked if it ever got published in English. I wonder how the Tokyopop UK branch is. I know it's really not the same, but seriously! You're English speaking people! It's not that much of a stretch to continue your ongoing series now is it? GRR FANG ( ... )
