This reminds me of a little dive I used to go to all the time when I was living in Colorado called the Calico Cafe. Nothing that would pass as close to gourmet food, but I loved the place. As a big fan of mushrooms, I never (read: NEVER) get enough mushrooms on any dish I order, until I ordered a Mushroom burger at this place. They didn't send it out as a complete burger, instead it was half a bun with a burger on it, another half a bun with a burger on it, and on top of each burger was literally about an inch of mushrooms. I was in heaven.
