Very *large* dump of snow last night and early this morning, reminiscent of the old days on Shady Lane Farm. I sense that if I were to venture out onto the lawn, the snow would be at about my knees. They got 7.4 inches in Milwaukee, no figures on exactly what we got here, but the damage was worse in western and central Wisconsin. Does this ( Read more... )

They're located right here in Madison. P. O. Box 750 Madison, WI 53701. Their atheism is so stringent as to almost be a religion, but you can't dispute their dedication to the separation of church and state. Will email you the article in today's paper.

The woman in question, Anne Nicol Gaylor's grandfather Sowle married Pop's grandparents (Frank and Francelia Clay). No, he wasn't a preacher, he was a justice of the peace, but the Sowles were pretty ardent Methodists. Her Nicol relatives were Scots--her father was third generation. You'll note that her children all have Scots names.
