It wouldn't hurt to be a little more serious with Haru. He doesn't joke around that much in canon, IMHO.

Yeah, I'm trying to work on that right now. I got that crit a little while ago from two people. So now I'm rereading and trying to grasp his serious side more too. I appreciate you taking the time to help me out a little.

To begin with, I know who the anon above is and I never really agreed with her. Yes, I waited like 8 months to post this, but... Hah.

It's fair to say that Haru doesn't joke all the time. However, Haru is usually White Haru, who is an airhead and rather abstract. It's not like Black Haru is making airheaded jokes or anything.

At any rate, although it seems you did change the way you play Hatsuharu, you did change him for the better. He's incredibly fun to interact with no matter which character of mine I use. (Not that he wasn't before.) What's more is that Haru is everywhere. It shows how much time you've put into building his CR, and that's something that can be rather difficult to do
