So, I got back from Texas a few days ago and it was wonderful. I went for Karl's graduation from BMT (Basic Military Training, a.k.a. boot camp) and it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. If any of you ever have a friend of family member that is graduating and you have an opportunity to go, do it. It is an amazing experience.

i was thinking of you while i was in SR this weekend. i hope you and karl are doing well through all this, do you get to talk to him these next few months? my thoughts are with you dear.

thank you for that... we are doing well. i guess as well as you could be doing when you don't get to talk to each other for 2 months. but things are going to be much easier now that he's in tech. school because there isn't someone breathing down their necks the entire time deciding when they can use a phone, and then telling them to get off 5 minutes later. it's pretty much just like regular college, and he can have his cell phone so this round will be much easier. especially since we kind of had a trial run with the phone relationship while i was at ucsb. thank you...
