Speaking of books, you HAVE to check out Paragaea by Chris Roberson. It's PIMP! The sword and sorcery adventure of Akilina "Leena" Chirikov, 2nd female Cosmonaut in space, who's capsule is transported to another world - so sweet! It'd be a perfect Yesterday's Tomorrow and I'm going to steal from it heavily for my character. ^_^
