Sometimes pushing through feels great

No surprise here that last night was a pretty crap night. I fell asleep a little after 11, only to be startled out of bed by our bawab calling on the interphone to say J had forgotten his scooter outside. I was so sleep fuddled that I didn't know where J was--he was in bed--and told the bawab that I had no idea when he'd be home ( Read more... )

that thing called writing, the best laid plans, goals, witherwilds

Good for you actually getting up and writing! There've been times when I thought I would... and then just lay there, thinking about how I was going to get up, yes I was, most definitely--without actually ever rising.

I somehow fear my days of long lie ins are finished with this whole "get up early to write" thing. My body has definitely gotten into the habit of it, waking me even after I stayed up too late reading and could have really used the extra sleep come morning.

Hello! Forgot you not. :-) footlingagain September 11 2015, 08:36:20 UTC
Hello there, young bean :-) Happy Birthday!!!

I'm so glad that you're getting in some quality writing time - impressed, too! Can't be easy with two cutie-pies (sorry, three - mustn't forget J) to care for.

Paul sends his regards and hopes all is well, as do I. Take care - and I'll try to be better at keeping in touch! <3

How funny our brains are. I've been thinking of you, too, of late, wondering what you've been up to.

I would have never believed that I'd get up early to write, but it really does seem the key to getting some time to achieving it.

Give my regards to Paul, too. :D
