Back, in several ways

Back home again. We had a really lovely visit at my mil's house this time around. We went on a couple of hikes (16km one day and 4km the next), which I'll share photos of later, and I feel motivated to get into shape again the better to enjoy the fantastic outdoors.

Is this boat (in your icon) one of those Egyptian ones? (I remember my mother telling me about Egyptian boats with special sails.)

You must be excited! I've always wanted to go to Egypt "one day", although I'm not sure when that day will be.

Excited, yes, but also a bit harried already. We have three months, but we are going to have to go to Paris several times to take care of admin stuff with the Egyptian embassy. I'm already dreading it.

And maybe your day in Egypt will come sooner rather than later. You can always come for a visit. :D
