*sigh* I'm so envious of your adventures. And I thank you so much for sharing it, so I can see it vicariously through your eyes. *smiles*

What's funny is my ten year old daughter has been looking at your photos as well, and she turned to me and said, "It looks just like it does in 'Whispers of the Heart!' It really looks like that!"

I'll have to send you some of her drawings. You've really inspired her.

Please do, I'd love to see them. It's so nice to hear she is inspired by the pictures of Japan. Maybe one day she can visit and draw after the real cherry blossoms :)

Lovely post!
Somewhere around here there is a huge Japanese store, we went there with husband and the child. She ran directly for the colorful packages of candies and bags of crisps, she asked for one and the husband being the softheart person he is bought her one. When she open it in the car the chips weren't chips they were dry shrimp things, the lesson learned that day......don't buy anything you can't read the package before hand.
Wondering what we are to see next in this "our Tokyo trip" your faithful LJ follower.

Ta!

Lol, I know the experience, I think I'm cleaning the bathroom with a kitchen liquid soap (for scrubbing burned food from pots and pans). But it works :)

I'm glad you like the journal updates, sharing these memories is a nice way to end the day for me. I hope you'll like the next entry too.
