Well there's a first time for everything! Last year we put together a giant puzzle of the world. It was mad fun. You'd never believe how many countries end in "stan."

I should be getting back from seattle sometime in the early evening, and by that point I may be somewhat unstable. So friends = good.

This will be great fun! We could even show you and Kirk the Barney Tape. I miss you, Cupcake. Eyebrows says hello, and Lucy would say hello if she weren't hiding.

Aww, I miss you too, Cupcake. And tell the kittens I say MEoW! (But say it in a non-threatening tone so that they don't think I am going to eat them (meOW) or to squeeze them very tightly (MeoW). Cats are very sensitive to that sort of thing.)

Here's a funny cat story -
So my crazy bachelor uncle usually sleeps with several cats in his bed. Tonight, as I was packing up my suitcase and he was trying to sleep, one of the cats jumped off the bed and came over to demand attention from me. My uncle (who I had presumed to be asleep) promptly opened one eye and said groggily without removing his face from the pillow, "Hey Alice, toss me Cloudy, would ya?" Mind you, I was across the room, so I said, "What?!!" and he said, "You know, the cat. Toss her over here." And he pounded the pillow next to him and made sad grabby motions.

So I picked up the cat and gently slung her onto the bed, where she mewed once and then curled up on the pillow.

My family is weird.
