I keep forgetting to write. I think a good number of my posts lately have been simple updates, with promises of more content that I never follow through on

Ohmygodohmygodohmygod!!!!!! And now that I have my inner girly out.... So... ya'll are legal, but planning on some sort of ritual for all those that should enjoy such a thing? There is something about it really. Ritual white dress, boquet and, most importantly, cake. Fanciness to the degree that makes you happy. Anyway, if you want a copy of our ceremony for reference (or blatant ripping off) purposes, just let me know. On food, make sure some else does it. Friends of mine had mom in charge of cooking and it caused issues, mostly with timing and stress. Stress bad. I highly recommend the restaurant route - food and clean up that is not your problem. And I cannot express how happy about this I am. Give Nick a congartualtroy hug and kiss from me and remind him if he breaks your heart I will come over with a poisioned bottle of rum... 'cause I know that'll work.
We haven't had CAKE yet! This needs to be fixed!!! I'm still trying to figure out, logistically, how to cram about 20 extra people into the apartment. I don't know if that's such a good idea, y'know? It would be a nice excuse to get all dolled up, too.
Actually, I'd love to nab a copy of your ceremony-- your wedding was awesome! Poor Adam's never been asked to do anything like this, so he's trying to figure out what he'd need to do (of course now, he just needs to show up).
Yeah, the food's coming from outside. It would be very awesome to have the chef I baked yummy items for get a chance to do it up-- he loves a challenge.
My mom's so funny about all of this-- "You NEED to have the reception! There's presents! And Food! And embarassing stories!"
OH MY GOD!!! CONGRATS ON ALL FRONTS!!! You did it the way we wanted to...quick, painless, private. Although we were thinking Vegas and a cheesy Elvis, but whatever.
Elvis would have been so funny. "Bluegrass Brunch" at Redbones is just about as strange, though! The Justice of the Peace said it was easily the weirdest place he's performed the ceremony. He was a really great guy. Good sense of humour (important when doing a marriage over BBQ brunch).
Woooh Hoooo! Congrats to Both of you - and remember as Frank and Sid Vicious both said what's important is that "I did it mY WAY!". So Congrats again on doing what's going to make you happy!
