Rabastan whistled an indistinct tune as he walked down towards the dungeons. His mates had decided to turn in early and left him outside on the grounds alone with his fags and thoughts. It was clearly something the Slytherin did not really mind because he had let himself get distracted and was now heading back to his dorm far past the standard bedtime feeling as chirpy as ever ( ... )

Narcissa watched as his gaze moved from her face over her body to her toes before pulling her feet up from the floor and stretching them out across the couch, one ankle crossed over the other, as she responded. "Couldn't sleep," she said simply, but quickly decided to elaborate and added, "I've been feeling restless lately. Not sleeping at night, exhausted during the day... I keep thinking I should ask Madam Pomfrey for a Sleeping Draught, but I'd rather not resort to that if I don't have to. I've just been using the time to study while everyone else is asleep."
