Title: The Card (Lace) Series: Love in Small Steps By: mmouse15 Rating: PG Word Count: 1600 Pairing: Prowl/Jazz Author's Notes: For reference, please see here. This is entry #3 for the May 08 challenge on the ProwlxJazz comm here on LJ.
*grins* Jazz making lace.. who'd have thunk it? The way everyone helps out in fixing the room up and helping distract Prowl. And then Jazz's reaction! Oh my, poor thing... but it was all all right in the end :)
Jazz is not as confident as he appears, is he? Given that, his reaction is completely understandable. *pets Jazz* So I had to fix it, of course. The Autobots loved helping Jazz with this, can you tell? Lace by tatting is actually not that difficult. Well, it can be. Jazz didn't do a complicated pattern, but I thought he'd certainly want to put something he'd made into the card.
OMG That was absolutely sweet and adorable. I love how Jazz was trully terrified that Prowl could possibly break up with him. And Jazz is right, sometimes a simple word to remind someone else you love them once in a while means as much as the actions.
Confession time - that scenario was Jay and I once, right before he proposed. I really did think he was breaking up with me, so I could write Jazz in that scene very easily. So, yes, I really understand the power of the spoken word. Prowl had to learn that lesson. I'm very glad you liked this one.

I love how you've made it a progressive thing. And hey, it's the blanket!

Yeah, I couldn't make it a completely smooth road. Jazz got pretty scared.
I'm glad you enjoyed this.
