I don't have a hard time writing slash or het but I've never written femslash in House largely because it seems OOC for either Cameron or Cuddy to have those inclinations and 13 makes me ill. (nothing against bis, I just don't like her personality.)

I fail to see what's so awful about this. You're already doing one better than me: I've never written a threesome, or even the idea of one.

I really liked this part:

But House would always fascinate her.

That's always the way, isn't it? What we can't or don't have is always more appealing than what we do, if just for the fact that it's the unknown and it can be any way we want it to be in our minds. I think it worked well here because she's fantasizing. A sequel would be interesting to see if what she imagined lives up to reality or not.

In my experience, sexual encounters that happen between people after at least one has fantasized about it never live up to that fantasy. The longer the fantasies have occurred, or the more detailed or varied, the more disappointing reality tends to be. Fantasies don't typically include stopping to get a condom or that sock that doesn't want to come off or a partner's body reacting any way but their own ideal. It goes back to what you say about wanting what we don't or can't have; we tend to make the fantasy into our ideal, rather than somehing based on the person(s) or things we want.

I can't say if this is awful or not; I've only just finished writing it and as we discussed, I was out of my comfort zone with it. So thefix itself isn't the issue for me, but rather the writing experience. I've been forced too far out of my comfort zone daily lately to have wandered out of it on my own, especially in fic. Damn muse.

I could never write slash fics so I guess we're even hehe. It's not like I don't want to, I just can't get inspired to do it. Same with writing about masturbation, especially from a female POV. I only wrote 2 fics for mmom and they were hard for me. I don't know why. It was fun, but I'm just not comfortable doing it. I can't seem to get into the mindset. So I'll leave it to those who can, like you who do it so awesomely. I'll stick to my smutty Hameron fics :)

You go Cameron! I really loved her in that episode, because it was one of the few time she threw House off his game, even if it was only for a few seconds.

I like the way you got that assertive Cam here, and the fantasies are all hot. Kudos for remembering that House...not so much with the kneeling, which is more than the writers seemed to remember in the season finale.
