Yes, every night Nicole would ask to sleep in that PJ. Hilton also provides accessories for kiddos too like toothbrush, bear shower sponge and slippers. They really take good care of their little patrons (so that they have fond memories of the place and would come back to them whenever they travel in adulthood, cunning businessman!!!).

Disneyland is not call "The Happiest Place on Earth" for nothing, its really fun. Bet Nicole would enjoyed more if not for her diarrhoea. You should make a trip to Japan DisneyLand with R, its definitely better than the one in HK. Of course the one in Florida is the ultimate choice!

'Of course the one in Florida is the ultimate choice!'

Ummm... I'm not too sure about that. BIG, yes. Better? Not many will agree to that. Still, it's a must go if you've covered Tokyo (best overall), Paris (most beautiful) and California (the original).

By the way, have a feeling you may go TDR (Tokyo Disney Resort) again. Just a tip, if you go in winter, book into Sheraton Grande instead, better hotel and you can get at 15,000 yen - but only at the Japanese website. English websites gives 17,000.

So sorry you had to pay 5000 yen for that cab ride. You could have sent your luggage through Takuhaibin (luggage delivery that you used before) and take a 20 minute train ride and still have some money left for lunch depending on your number of luggages. But well, it's good to help somebody make a living!

+++ YES, Disneyland is THE happiest place on earth. Puroland doesn't even come close even for a hello kitty fan like me +++

Hello, I see that you have posted some comments in some of my previous LJ entries...mind to 'demystify' yourself?

You seemed to know Disneyland inside out, you must have visited all of them I presumed and lots of other themed parks too.

Thanks for the tips, will bear that in mind if I am planning any trip.

Looks like a very nice leisurely trip! How many nights were you in Japan?

The price you got for the Hilton looks very good! Which site did you get it from?

It was indeed a great holiday for the family especially for the little one. We spent 5 nights in Tokyo (2 in central Tokyo and 3 in Disneyland) and another 4 nights in Hokkaido.

We booked our accommodation directly from the hotel at http://www.hilton.co.uk/tokyobay. The rates can yoyo between ¥23,000 to ¥49,000 for a king size bedroom (with breakfast) depending which month you travel. At ¥18,000, it was indeed a steal!

Thank you.

Disney changes its theme every 3 months to conincide with the seasons and whatever festivities too. You can view 2007 calendar here: http://www.tokyodisneyresort.co.jp/tdr/english/calendar/index.html.

One thing I like about them is they make en effort to entice the people to come back to their park with different activities and theme (there's why they are world class), unlike Sentosa, things only change after a usage of 10 years or more....like that how to attract tourists! They have a long way to learn from Disney even with basic infrasture eg the castle, they still managed to play around it offering different things each time!

You could have use the hyperlinks that I have created in my last posting :)

I cannot agree more that DL is the happiest place to be, I have visited 3 out of 5 DLs in the world, hopefully wihtin my useful life I can complete the DL 'grand prix' :)

Do make a trip there as its the next nearest DL to us, I believe Megan would love it too given that its much much bigger than the one in HK! You can plan one in any other seasons except Winter if Megan cannot take the coldness. But what I understood was that the period we were there its supposedly to be low period; so be prepared to queue. Would advise to stay within DL vicinity if Megan needs to take her beauty nap or do what we did (even though we stayed nearby), that is to sleep on benches in the park.
