Computer update and request

So, as I've hinted in various boolprop.com posts, the computer is a no-go.  New drivers didn't help, new video card didn't help, so it might be something more serious.  I still hold out hope for a different video card, but that'll have to wait.  Michael is sort of leaning toward just getting a new system entirely.  But that of course takes moolah

Well, if you don't mind not having an end point, you could do a prosperity challenge. That can be done with base game.

Oh, that sucks! I hope it's not a hard drive issue, and you'll be able to slavage the Nebulas and the Asylum.

You could do an Officially Wacky Boolprop Challenge. I'm pretty sure those are set up for any combination of EPs, and it's relatively short. What is it, like, 4 generations of one family?

Yeah, it ends when the fourth generation is born. The rules look semi-challenging, which would probably be nice for someone used to an Apocalypse.

I think you should do an OWBC or a prosperity challenge, personally. Oh, or you could do an orphan challenge if you haven't yet. There are lots of them out there. The orphan challenge you could do in one afternoon, though.

I actually have an orphan challenge planned, but I'll need to get back to my main game for it.

I decided on ISBI, because it seems very open-ended, and I still have trouble wanting to micro-manage my sims.

So, I set it up and quickly realized why I don't often play on Michael's machine. It's just not as stable. It's crashed twice, each time about half an hour into play. Oh well, it gets me my fix, at least.
