Aaah, breaktime. Fifteen minutes of... well, it varies. Sometimes, it's ignoring the "help us" bell. Sometimes, chat with not-busy coworkers. Sometimes, stare into space and try to regain enough strength to go back to the grind.

It certainly sounds stressful. I think you'll know if you're clinically depressed, probably. I heard once, and I thought it was helpful, that depression serves a purpose. When animals get sick or hurt, they get very quiet and shut down a bit until they get better (and I'm sure you've seen this.) It's when it keeps going forever--that's not so good.
Of course, some of the time, animals are just plain *lazy.* Marko's on the futon right now and he is stretched out in a way that covers the whole futon! A nice nap, some kibble, a mid-afternoon nap, bug the person for some cuddles and play, a late afternoon nap. . . .I wish I were a cat. I wish I were *my* cats, certainly!
