Cute!! This might be a dumb question, but I'll ask anyways. When you have a bento box with like fruit in one compartment and rice in another compartment, how do you heat it up? Do you take out the fruit, heat the box, and put the fruit back in? Or is the bento box just a carrying case and when you heat up the food it just goes onto a separate plate? I'd like to start bringing these to work. CUTENESS FOR LUNCH.
Generally, I don't heat up my bento before I eat it. Almost everything I pack tastes good at room temperature. If I have a particular meal that I really want to eat hot, I will use a microwaveable bento (more tupperware-like). And I will remove anything from the bento that I don't want to heat before I do it.
Hi there! Coming out of lurkdom to say hello and also say yeeeaaa to bentos and my fav mayo Kewpie! Its the gold standard of mayos in my opinon with its rich egg-y tatse! And who could resist such a cute wrapper and bottle, neh? Keep up the great work on this blog! :)
hahaha, the cute little egg guy made me laugh when i saw it. People eat way too much spam (notice it's not even referred to as a brand) and vienna sauage here. They seem to be living alright. But yea, it's not a good thing to make processed meat a regular diet...wait it out, probably especially for stomaches not used to it.
