So, do you normally reheat your food at lunchtime or do you eat it at room temperature? I've read eating it at room temperature is quite common but I worry about bacteria growth and getting sick. I have access to a microwave but my son doesn't.

I usually eat my lunch at room temperature, which I believe is the norm. I wouldn't worry too much about the bacteria growth. The food is only sitting around for a few hours, much like a normal tuna sandwich or whatever you might pack for your son. I haven't had any problems anyway! :)

That chick is just about the cutest thing I've ever seen! The egg-chick's eyes are little bits of nori, or are they peppercorns?

Nori! Although you could just as easily use peppercorns. The roundness of the peppercorns would be nice actually.
