i'm always fascinated by how you achieve the cutouts you use in your bentos (for example the star shapes in the egg and carrots). are you doing all of these cuts freehand? and if so could you post a picture of what knife you use and a rough description of your technique?
I use metal cookie cutters . . . small metal cookie cutters. :) Wilton and lots of other companies make them. Look for something about 1" in diameter if you're going to be cutting things like carrots.
