Glad to see your wok found a nice and caring master. :D
Btw, if it's not too much trouble, do you mind removing this (kaoko_cow) from your LJ bento bloggers list? I don't want to flood people with my personal / work / anime stuff, so I succumbed to creating a separate food blog. Please link to kitchencow instead. Thankies, and good luck rockin' with that wok!
did i tell you i got the glad press n' seal a couple of months ago and i love it? :D thanks for the rec!
and yay you got the red curry sauce! how do you like it compared to the yellow curry? i might have to give the yellow another chance... it's been a while since i've had it! :)
first of all, your posts make me drool all over myself with glee. i hope you don't mind that i added you.
second of all, i was wondering if you have any advice on finding a bento box not on the internet? i'm not a huge fan of internet shopping yet (though i know that needs to change) and i'd rather not have to pay shipping costs, but i'm not sure where bento boxes would be available for sale? i thought mayhaps a chinatown would have some (?) because i know i have purchased japanese goods in chinatowns before (and there are no nice predominantly japanese shopping areas around me)... any suggestions?
As for non-internet shopping, your best bet is Asian markets in your area. Just check their cookware aisle, or tupperware aisle if they have one, and you may get lucky. You'll have more luck at Japanese stores than Chinese, but still give it a try. Oh, and Korean markets often have bento-ware too. HTH!
