A teeny bit of lemon juice does the trick!

the yakisoba looks delicious! definitely makes me wish I had made some this morning for my lunch, instead of opting for an additional half hour of sleep.
what do longans taste like...they definitely look intriguing! and the pear stars are very cute :)

Mmmm...sleep...

As for longans, they are very similar to lychee. Sweet, almost cottony/chewy in texture, hard to explain! They are good canned too, so if you ever see any, try them!

If I see them, I definitely will :)

I picked up some kiwi and blood oranges from Stop & Shop yesterday.

I love fruit (with the exception of bananas), and am always up for trying new ones. The only thing I hesitate with is a)how to tell if they are ripe and b)the best way to cut them, peel them etc.

Like passionfruit. I LOVE passion fruit flavored things. BUT, S&S had some..and they felt very light, and were expensive so I opted to not get them.

Humm Scrummy Logans! cutest_bebe76 March 27 2006, 16:56:33 UTC
I didnt know what you can get Logans in the freezer sections - hummm must investigate the oriental shops here in London. My husband doesnt like the taste of fresh logans only the dried stuff, he prefers lychees. I love them both. I have never had rambutans what are they like?

Rambutans are like bigger lychees, but in a red, prickly skin that makes them look like alien eggs. The taste is similar to lychee, but more complex and there is tartness mixed in with the sweet. You should try them!
