Yeah, I have been conflicted about this whole thing because I think he's a huge jackass, but I generally think people freak out way too easily about things people say. I do think what he said was incredibly stupid, but Christ, if they penalized everyone who said something stupid...

And I definitely don't think that his "nappy-headed hos" comment necessarily means he's racist or sexist - I've definitely made off color jokes to get a laugh. That doesn't mean I have these attitudes, even if I will milk their humor.

I really don't believe that because he has a radio show, he has some obligation to be a good person. Seems like two different things to me.

I think it was a horribly, horribly offensive thing to say, and getting fired for it seems reasonable.

The insane amount of media attention this got, though, does not seem reasonable.
