How was the play????

Opening night went okay, though I did flub up one line. Then, instead of going on, the other actor backtracked, leaving me dangling, but then someone else patched it up. I forgot to warm up my voice before my duet, and then I was blushing furiously during the song. Getting so much wrong helped us figure out what we needed to do, though, so I expect tonight will be smoother. We'll have it down by the last night!

I play a mean, very strict character, which -- oddly enough -- was fun. I have a line where I leave one of the girls alone in the infirmary, and if I see her head outside the door, I'll knock it off. I then walk out through the center of the room, between the two halves of the audience, and keeping a straight face until I left the room was very difficult. It really is a blast.
