So digging around on the Sheraton Suites Galleria-Atlanta website while they do offer shuttle service, they do not in fact go to the airport. This now adds in the transport cost of getting to and from the hotel into a airline ticket. Which also means that the cost offset for flying just became equal to driving ( Read more... )

i did tell you this, mister... i had to take the taxi several times when I went there via airplane..

Well they do advertise a free shuttle service... And to be honest it's the first time I have ever seen a hotel that offers a shuttle service that will not go to the airport.

There are not many people who will willingly travel to that !@$#%#%@ airport. It would take you longer to get through the airport there than to drive in the first place.

While the drive to Atlanta is easy, I admit having a GPS handy will save you a lot of trouble. ;-)

Thinking about it, good sir, but I don't want to promise anything unless I know I'm going... and other than oggling Yaya Han and watching anime, I'm not sure what I would do there. Wait.. do I really need more? I need some more time to decide for sure. If I go, I'll either carpool with you if you drive, or drive alone if you fly, unless it's definately cheaper to fly.

Well seeing that once you add in the taxi ride from the airport to the hotel (And back again) the cost is very close to that of driving. Personally I am going to drive down as it solves a few issues. Right now I am just trying to decide if I want to extend the "trip" and go up on Thursday and drive back on Monday, or marathon drive early Friday morning and Late Sunday.
