I'd write to your MP now about RFID. The yanks are going to start using it in their passports from 2007 (yes, I know) to store biometrics. Holy security risk, batman! Just make sure it doesn't happen in the UK.
Now go read my long rant about DRM. I'd really hate to see them do this to CDs - even the best downloaded mp3s or other music files are lossy compared to CDs (just try putting them through a good sound system and compare), and as someone who's trying to go the other way as far as sound quality is concerned, destroying physical music formats as a viable product is not something I'd like to see.
AIUI, there are two types of RFID tags-ones that give off a signal, and ones that have to be held up to the reader. Both your credit card and the new passports have a range of an inch or so.
I'm not saying the idea doesn't make me go "eek!", because it does. But if you're close enough to read someone's passport, you're close enough to steal it anyway.

I need to go to work in a minute so this will be short, but:
Good pic.
Express pay: eep! I fear RFID.
Food grade silicon: er ... !
DRM: not read anything about it recently, but this can't be good ...
