Home again, home again . . .

I'm home again after a few weeks away visiting family, so although I can't promise that updates to my WIP, A Long Vernal Season, will return to the break-neck pace they saw in November and December, I hope they will be a bit more predictable and regular.

It feels as though almost no one is reading it, or that only about three of four people do and are actually enjoying it. It really takes the pleasure out of posting and sharing fics when no one you're sharing them with finds anything to say about the story or even bothers saying they're enjoying it, but then the people who hate it and seem to think I'm a sick, twisted pup were loud and clear -- only, of course, when they thought what I was writing was bizarre and terrible, not when they were (evidentally) reading the previous chapters and (presumably) enjoying them (or why else would they have continued to come back
