[The screen is black, but one can hear Pearl's voice. It sounds different than its usual high pitched, almost squeaky tone. In fact, it sounds like the voice of an older teen.]

Um. I woke up, and...I don't know why I look like this, but um, it's kind of hard to get used to...

[She pulls her hand away from the camera slowly, and one can see her.,

Calm down, alright? Just hold onto my shoulder and I'll help.

[He loosens his hold on her before bending a little at the knees to scoop her up into his arms, bridal style.]

[She grips his shoulder tight, letting out a squeak as she's picked up. The girl leans against his shoulder, calming down a bit. She nods at his question, somewhat bewildered.]

[Nods towards her bed.] Wanna go lie back down?

A-All right.

[Her crying has stopped for the most part. There's the occasional sniffle and her wet cheeks left. She holds him tight, afraid to let go.]

[Walks over to her bed and carefully lowers her down.]

Guess you're not used to being bigger, huh?

[She shakes her head, sniffing.]

N-No.

[She pauses, leaning against the wall.]

But you're not mad?

Of course I'm not mad. This isn't your fault. [Gives a reassuring smile.]

[Nods, wiping her face on her sleeve.]

You're not tall anymore...

[Deadpans for a moment.] ........Really...? I guess I couldn't tell.

[She giggles, leaning forward and taking his hand. Pearl gently lifts it, holding her palm flat against his. Instead of being tiny compared to his, it's only a bit smaller, fingers long and slender. She giggles again.]

Heh...You're right. [Smiles back as his fingers curl into hers. He's totally not sad that his little Pearl is growing up!]

[She holds on, stretching upwards with her free arm.]

I bet I can reach a lotta stuff now!

[Chuckles.] You probably can, but first you gotta relearn how to walk.

[She slides of the bed feet first, hand hands held out sideways as she stands, wobbles, and gets her footing.]

[Grins a little before moving to stand beside her and holds out his hand.]
